| Signature Seismic was incorporated in June 2000 focusing on dedicating 100 percent of its services to 2D and 3D land and marine seismic processing. Being a small but highly motivated Calgary based company, Signature has built a strong and dedicated clientele over the past years. The relationship with our clients is based on the quality of our products, work ethics, and our commitment to a strong processor/client relationship, all of which are significant in eliminating any seismic pitfalls that can occur. Our ultimate goal is simple; we want clients to drill prolific targets based on our seismic merit.Click the following bookmarks to find out more details about Signature Seismic.
2D
& 3D 64 Bit -- Focus Epos 5.4
The main processing software package "Focus-Epos 5.4". This comprehensive 64 bit 2D and 3D software is entirely interactive where processing modules and parameters can be easily tested on the fly; it's stable, fast, and versatile. Our software has both the interactive tools for accurate data analysis, and batch tools for efficient processing of large 2D and 3D datasets. Focus is recognized for its long-term stability and commitment in developing high quality processing. “Signature Seismic has thoroughly tested other software products that strongly compliment our software family. From our experience, we have determined that the best seismic sections delivered are the ones that are most tested and investigated.” Other Software Products"Millennium"
(GMG)
front-end
interactive processing software performs accurate geometry and refraction static
calculations in both trivial and complex environments. Millennium offers a wide
range of tools to optimize these calculations from refracted arrival first break
pick times. Our philosophy of
picking every record and every trace on 2D and 3D raw data is fundamental in
enhancing this critical step in the processing sequence.
"TECHCO SDCON” : Having the ability to test and apply another surface consistent deconvolution that provides a high frequency seismic output without contaminating the data with noise has been a worthwhile algorithm to have in our software product line. It is able to optionally solve and apply multiple components including line, shot, receiver, CDP, and offset. In order to address band-limited noise which may fall outside of the surface consistent design window, sdcon can optimally apply a zero-phase spectral balancing to the data after deconvolution. It can perform either time variant whitening of the spectrum of each trace, or time variant suppression of anomalously high bands in the spectrum. “TECHCO
MASTT”:
Mastt is a powerful surface
consistent statics package for 2D and 3D land or shallow marine seismic data
sets. The MASTT static solution has
a particular strong showing in many difficult environments such as the ones we
are faced here within Western Canada. “TECHCO
SUMMIG” (PSTM):
Summig is a
2D and 3D a
pre-stack and post-stack Kirchhoff Time Migration. Capable of parallel
execution, Summig produces a stack
or common offset gathers on output. It
also can perform multiple migrations at various percentages of the input
velocity field in which percentage stacks are output for velocity analysis. There has been much success using Summig in many complex data
environments.
"INQUISITOR"
is a powerful solution that provides a fast and accurate way to decompose CDP
gathers into a sum of hyperbolae. This allows for operations such as surgical
muting, fk-filtering or deconvolution to be done interactively in the transform
domain thus providing an effective way in removing hyperbolic events that are
not considered primaries.
When transformed back into the CDP domain, we are left with multiple free
gathers.
This software addition gives us a particularly strong advantage for
processing multiple
contaminated
structured
data sets
as
well as marine
data sets containing water bottom multiples. "VELANAL" interfaces naturally with SUMMIG and it is a quick and intuitive QC of a seismic data image and the velocity field which generated it. It is a velocity analysis package by which the user bases their choice of a correct velocity on the stack image generated by that velocity. Velanal is interactive and flexible and used primarily in complex structured environments. “SEISBASE":
Signature
Seismic's SeisBase proprietary database allows our processors to
have a wealth of information at their
fingertips about every seismic line
processed.
Information such as seismic line acquisition parameters, geometry output
values, processing parameters, client information and project status are all
promptly accessed
by a push of a button
and in a matter of seconds.
Signature Seismic Processing maintains
a philosophy of thorough and unlimited testing of all line vintages to deliver
the best possible results. To
achieve this objective, the following quality control (QC) measures are used as
a standard practice:
Geophysical Networking
Signature Seismic has learned the importance of such a network that allows clients and processors to have the full benefits of the tools and technologies necessary to produce the best possible products.
Signature Seismic offers both land and marine data processing. Domestically, our 2D and 3D processing experience consists of a wide range of project areas that include Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba plains data, Ontario, the Foothills (Alberta & BC), and the Northwest Territories. On an international level, Signature has processed data areas in the Middle East, North Africa, Central/South America, and of course the United States. Our high confidence level in establishing new project areas on a local and global scale is based on our success and continued work in areas we have already established.
